I haven’t blogged since OCTOBER! Wow… It’s been a crazy few months and we can’t wait to fill you in on the details. We have made some huge changes!
While I manage Erin Moulden Photography full time, Justin has always had another job through the week while shooting with me on the weekends. Back in December, he got a job offer that we could not refuse, working for a truly wonderful company. Only thing is…the job is in DALLAS, TEXAS. After much thought and talking and sleeping on it, he decided to accept the offer. By early January, Justin was spending his weekdays in Dallas, working and looking for a place to live, driving home to be with us on the weekends. In the last week of January, the boys and I made the move. It wasn’t easy but we are Texans now and it’s growing on us. 🙂
In Arkansas, we lived in my hometown and as much as I love that place, every time Justin and I would travel for weddings or to see friends, we were constantly dreaming of living somewhere else. We talked about Chicago, IL, Raleigh, NC, St. Louis, MO, Seattle or Tacoma, WA or just moving into Little Rock to be where we both worked and spent almost every weekend. And then, this Dallas offer came along and we took it. Call us crazy but we needed a change, new surroundings. We needed to take some risks so we won’t later regret what we didn’t do. This is, after all, a huge opportunity not only for Justin but for our family.
Just as we have always traveled for weddings in the past, we will continue to do so now. We will continue to book a limited number of Arkansas weddings and will be traveling back and forth all Spring and Summer long for engagements, bridals and weddings. I will be announcing on our Facebook page when we have dates available for portraits sessions and client meetings in the Central Arkansas area. We love our Arkansas clients/friends! If you are an Arkansas bride or groom and are interested in having us photograph your wedding, drop us a line or give us a call! We would love to hear from you. If we aren’t available for travel on your date, we would be happy to refer you to our favorite photographers in the area.
And finally…
Hey Texas, nice to meet you! We can’t wait to get started.
XOXO,
Erin
