We met Brittany, along with her Mom and Aunt, at the Arbor Hills Nature Preserve in Plano, Texas last month. It was a perfectly wonderful evening – but the day didn’t start out that way. We woke up that morning to gray skies and threats of rain. I sent Brittany a message and asked if they were still willing to get out and risk it and in true Brittany style, she replied with “Let’s do this!” We arrived a little early, just as the gray skies were turning blue and when they pulled up next to us, the sun was shining and the sky was absolutely beautiful.
And so was she…
