(Preface: Erin and I have been very busy in the last few months with photography, life and business and we just recently realized that we haven’t blogged in WAY too long. This is the first of several upcoming posts we’ll be blogging to try and catch everyone up with what we’ve been doing. Stay tuned!)
Prior to a wedding, we usually try to spend time with our couples to get to know them and their personal style, but what we knew of Travis and Natalie when we showed up to shoot for them we learned exclusively through email exchanges and Facebook. While we were at home in bed, Natalie and Travis were planning their Arkansas wedding from half a world away in Oman and Qatar, respectively.
All you have to do is spend just a few minutes looking at this gorgeous couple’s Facebook pages and you’ll learn that these two have been just about everywhere. Spend just a few minutes actually in their presence and you see that their worldliness shows in their humor, grace, charm and incredibly good taste. We really enjoyed working with these two.
Travis and Natalie chose a 1920s theme for their wedding and pulled it off beautifully on every level, from their Little Rock, Arkansas wedding Venue built in 1914, (the Historic Rogers House) to the individually chosen flapper style bridesmaid’s dresses, to Natalie’s elegant one of a kind, hand-sewn wedding gown. Narrowing down their gallery to just a handful for this blog post was a difficult task, but here are a few of our favorites from the day.
