Mike and Brittany’s Highland Park Dallas Engagement Session

Mike and Brittany got married YESTERDAY at the Rolling Hills Country Club in Arlington, Texas and it was an AH-mazing day! I really don’t remember the last time I cried so much at a wedding. I cry at most, at some point during the day, but I literally had no makeup on my face when I got home last night. I am maybe the biggest sap in the world, which is why I love this job so much. I fall in love with our couples. I love their families. I love their moments.

I sat down this morning to blog Brittany’s Bridal Portrait Session and realized that we never shared their Engagement Session! So, here it is, folks.

These two are so very in love. Melting everyone around them, in love. They laugh and smile so much, they are playful with each other and they are…steamy!

Lindsey’s Marlsgate Plantation Bridal Portraits

Matthew and Lindsey are married, which means that we can finally share her bridal portraits! We met Lindsey and her sweet Mom on March 10 at the always beautiful Marlsgate Plantation in Scott, Arkansas. We were threatened all week with rain but wound up with sunshine and lovely weather.

I don’t have to tell you, because I know you can tell by her smile, but this girl is the sweetest! Lindsey, her dress and her flowers were absolute perfection. We couldn’t have asked for a better afternoon.

Josh and Marci’s Gainesville, Texas Engagement Session

I have to start by saying that we love these people. I knew we’d be friends the first time we met. Josh works with Justin at the day job so they’ve known each other for a couple years. They’re workout and beer drinking buddies. I, on the other hand, just met Josh and Marci last October, about a week before he proposed. And let me tell you, he did the right thing because, well… I love her. 🙂

On February 15, we hopped into Marci’s jeep and the four of us took a road trip up to Gainesville, TX for a visit to their friend’s farm. When we arrived, it was a four wheel drive adventure through the the hills, trees and cattle. (I love cows, don’t judge.) This Arkansas girl felt right at home – in Texas!

Josh and Marci are getting married in November at The Storybook Ranch in McKinney, TX.
